One Small Duck

Tell us a little about the origins of one small duck.

Basically all the ‘cool’ names were taken. So, i decided full embrace my nerdiness and combined my love of rubber duckies and my sisters nick name for me. It just kind of stuck.

Describe your creative process.
It varies. Sometimes I’ll go in with a set idea of what needs to be done. Other times I’ll just look at whatever I have in the studio at the time and try to find things that fit together.

What inspires you the most?

Finding new connections in things that would otherwise not look like they would fit together.

What are your ultimate dreams for one small duck, art and design?
For it to be my full time job and to extend it from artist crafts to animation and interactive art.

What will will we find from one small duck at our March Bend and Snap Market?

One off and limited runs of sculpture/decorative arts, candle holders made from new and recycled metal, jewelry, some random zines, and maybe some drawings/paintings and badges.
